In Soroti, at the airstrip, there grows a plumeria tree. As we were walking along the cracks in the ground called to me to put down the flower and snap this shot. Everyone thought I was a little nuts and laughed at my silly antics, but I think it was worth it.

This woman and her family passed us as we were climbing up Mt. Wanale. Her son was ahead of her carrying his younger sibling, she as you see was loaded down, and her husband came behind with NOTHING! Culturally this is acceptable, but it sure left an impression on us.

Nothing? It's probably because he too much of a weakling, since he's not use to carrying anything.
